Hope Township is currently looking for a new Sports Director for Basketball. Interested parties should drop off a resume at the municipal building. Interviews will be held at a time to be determined.

Great News!!! The Hope Environmental Commission has received a $10,000 grant through Sustainable Jersey with the help of the Land Conservancy in order to update the ERI. Congratulations to the Enviromental Commission, especially Ellen Benoit who was instrumental in her efforts in working with the Land Conservancy, in obtaining this grant to update our ERI and preserve our precious and environmentally sensitive lands here in Hope Township.

NEW MUNICIPAL CLERK/ NEW OFFICE HOURS - Beginning Monday, July 25, 2016, Hope Township will have a new Municipal Clerk, Judy Fisher. Mrs. Fisher has been the part-time Municipal Clerk of Hardwick Township for 35+ years. Her office hours in Hope Township will be Monday & Friday from 9:30 AM to 4 PM and Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 2:30 to 4 PM. Please give her a warm welcome!
NEW DEPUTY CLERK/OFFICE HOURS - Beginning Monday, August 1, 2016 Hope Township will have a new Deputy Clerk, Robin Keggan. Ms. Keggan has been a Hope resident for the past 20+ years and most recently worked for a Land Use Board attorney in the Belvidere area. Her office hours are Monday and Friday 8 AM to 12 PM and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM (lunch hour from 9:15-10:15).
For those residents in Hope Township and the surrounding areas that may have missed it, a memorial in rememberance of 9/11 was made this past weekend at Tramontin Harley Davidson. Mayor McDonough, Station 38, First Responders and Police Officers, as well as many members of the general public, were on hand for this emotional tribute to those lost on 9/11/01, those left behind and First Responders and Police. Please stop by Tramontin and see it for yourself... it is a beautiful piece put together by several businesses that donated their time, material and craftsmanship. Special thanks to Nancy and Don of Tramontin for bringing this project from just a thought to fruition and dedicating it in our beautiful little town of Hope.
